Offertory Prayer Liturgist

All: God of majesty and power, you have dominion over all the universe, and yet you chose to rule not in power but in love. The gifts we give to you are not given from fear or in petition for your favor, but in the deepest gratitude for all your blessings that keep us and sustain us. May our whole lives reflect to the world that there is one who rules us with love and compassion, above all this world’s nations and principalities. In the name of your Son, the Christ, we pray. Amen.

+Hymn of Response: Together We Serve TFWS 2175

1. Together we serve, united by love, inviting God's world to the glorious feast.

We work and we pray through sorrow and joy, extending your love to the last and the least.

2. We seek to become, a beacon of hope, a lamp for the heart and a light for the feet.

We learn, year by year, to let love shine through until we see Christ in each person we meet.

3. We welcome the scarred, the wealthy, the poor, the busy, the lonely, and all who need care.

We offer a home to those who will come, our hands quick to help, our hearts ready to dare.

Invitation to Experience and Share Joy Rev. Matt Franks

This year we have committed to live to have hope for the future, to live in peace, to love unconditionally, and to know and share the joy of the Lord so that with God’s help we will transform the world. In this last quarter of the year, we will work towards experiencing and sharing joy. We share joy by simply smiling to our neighbors. And as we send you out this day: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. God loves you and so do I

Closing Hymn: Together We Serve TFWS 2175

4. Together, by grace, we witness and work, remembering Jesus, in whom we grow strong.

Together we serve in Spirit and truth, remembering love is the strength of our song.

Thank you for joining us today in worship.

Pastor Appreciation Sunday will be celebrated on Nov. 21st in Worship.

During worship, we will honor our Clergy People Matt Franks and Shana Dry.

Some ideas of appreciation for our pastors are things like notes, cards, letters or gift cards. Some gift card ideas are things like Amazon, Walmart, Charlie's Chicken, Braums or El Molcajete's Mexican Restaurant.

If you are not able to attend that Sunday. You can also mail each pastor's appreciation gift to the church office located at the following address: Tahlequah United Methodist Church, 300 West Delaware Street, Tahlequah, OK 74464. Another option would be to drop them off at the church office by placing them in the mail slot outside the church office door. Or leave it in the baskets that will be left out on Sunday the 14th and 21st.

If you have questions, please contact Carla at cjrlivesay3@gmail.com
